The purpose of this project is to capture and explore rhythms/patterns generated by physical forces exerted upon wheeled vehicle traveling at both constant and variable rates over highway, city roads, sidewalks, and other applicable man-made surfaces through the use of sensors and interpretive software.

( Record bumps in the road for creative use)

At present time, it would seem possible to produce a working prototype with the use of a couple seismic sensors and an Arduino (see motion detection system for wifi-chime) mounted to a small vehicle such as a bicycle, which then outputs midi data to a tablature program of some kind running on a portable computer.

Collected data could then be processed and played back in a number of interesting ways.

Assuming this prototype is both successful and interesting, the system could feasibly be expanded to include a more complex sensor array with software capable of interpreting variant data such as trigger velocity or turn speeds.

Vibration/Midi trigger feedback loop.

THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS
